ABOUT ALISHA
As time moves faster and to-do lists grow longer, it's no wonder so many of us struggle to take care of ourselves. Therapy with me involves slowing down and finding the right language to describe experiences you may not have had time to process.
I practice from a client-centered perspective and might integrate strategies and wisdom from other schools of thought depending on what you’re looking to gain from therapy. This means that we set goals according to your values and adjust according to your evolving needs and preferences. We’re not here to “fix” you, but to help you figure out who you are and what you want.
I enjoy working with people who strive for spontaneity, conviction, and compassion in times when they feel awkward, lost, or stuck. I don't mind if this looks a little grumpy or pig-headed sometimes. Therapy is scary and messy, and I appreciate that even reaching out to a new therapist can feel like a big commitment. If you’d like to take the leap, I’d love to hear your story.
