YOU’RE READY FOR A CHANGE BUT NOT SURE HOW THIS THERAPY THING WORKS.

We got you. Let’s walk through what to expect.

the process

Consultation

You’ll start by scheduling a free 15-minute video consultation with our practice owner, Shannon.  She’ll send you a brief questionnaire and will complete your consultation appointment. You’ll ask her all your questions and at the end of your appointment she’ll match you with an experienced therapist who fits your preferences.

First Session

Your therapist will connect with you to schedule your intake appointment. In this first session, they’ll review the therapy process and focus on building a relationship where you will feel comfortable discussing the experiences bringing you into counseling.

Ongoing Sessions

In your initial sessions, you and your therapist will decide if you’re a good fit and nail down the main goals you want to address in therapy. You'll typically meet weekly or bi-weekly and revisit your goals every few months, to ensure you're progressing at a pace that feels right for you.

We are in network with Kaiser Permanente Northwest. If you have a different insurance plan, we can offer a superbill receipt that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. It's important to understand that we cannot guarantee any reimbursement, as that's a matter to be addressed between you and your insurance provider.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you miss an appointment without notice or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there will be an out-of-pocket $95 late cancel/no-show fee. This policy is in place because we reserve that specific time slot exclusively for you. If you arrive late to a session, please note that you might miss out on some of your allocated time.
